How do I measure my door correctly?
Please Do Not just measure the inner opening. You need to measure the exact frame area where you will stick the Velcro. We cut the screen to the exact dimensions you provide.
Width: Measure the outer width of the door frame (left edge to right edge).
Height: Measure from the top of the door frame down to the floor.
(Tip: If you are unsure, we recommend adding 4cm to the width and 2cm to the height of your inner opening to ensure a secure fit.)

Do I need any tools to install this?

Because we start customizing your screen shortly after the order is placed, please contact us within 3 hours of payment if you need to change dimensions. Once production has started, we cannot modify the size.

I hate the sound of a screen door slamming. It’s so jarring during a quiet evening. This magnetic screen is virtually silent. It makes a soft “click” as the magnets find each other, and that’s it. It fits the minimalist aesthetic of my home perfectly. I ordered the black version and it looks very high-end. It’s also much easier to walk through when I’m carrying my yoga mat and water bottle out to the patio.
Most magnetic screens are a nightmare on metal door frames because the magnets in the screen want to stick to the frame instead of each other. The design of the Zoormesh sleeve seems to mitigate this—the magnets are powerful enough to prioritize the center seal over the frame. I did have to be a bit more careful during the initial alignment, but once it was up, it functioned flawlessly. It’s a huge relief to have a screen that doesn’t constantly get “stuck” to the door itself.
The mesh dries quickly after a rain and hasn’t developed any mold or smell. It’s been great for keeping the house aired out during the humid spring months. The magnets are very powerful and the seal is 100% bug-proof. Very happy with my purchase.
